The latest reports from Newcastle are coming in where the club is closing in on signing up Alexander Isak.
The reports suggest that it is going to be a club-record signing for Newcastle if they finalize the deal with Isak.
Newcastle is Aiming to Hire
Newcastle is currently in the process of hiring Alexander Isak. Alexander Isak is a 22-year-old Swedish who is currently playing for Real Sociedad.
Isak is playing as a forward for Real Sociedad ever since he moved to the club in 2019. Prior to joining Real Sociedad, Alexander Isak was playing at Borussia Dortmund.
At Real Sociedad, Alexander Isak made 105 appearances and he was able to score 33 goals.
Newcastle to Sign Isak for £59 Million
According to reports, Alexander Isak is to be acquired by Newcastle. The club has reportedly agreed to pay £59 million to acquire the player.
If the club manages to signup Alexander Isak, it would be the record signup for the club. The reports confirm that the club is almost close to signing up Isak and bringing him into the squad.
Newcastle had been eyeing Isak for a while and they recently approached the Spanish club making an offer for the player. Finally, Real Sociedad accepted the offer from Newcastle.
They have agreed to let Newcastle sign Alexander Isak at a transfer fee of £59 million.
Personal Terms are in Discussion
Although the transfer fee bid has been accepted, personal terms are yet to be discussed between the player and the club.
However, it is being strongly suggested that Newcastle will be able to sign the players successfully. Another update will be shared once the personal terms are agreed upon between the clubs and the player.
It is hoped that in the upcoming days, Real Sociedad will officially announce the departure of Alexander Isak from their club.
If Real Sociedad makes the announcement, then it will become obvious that the next announcement will be from Newcastle’s end.
They will be confirmed that they have successfully signed the Swedish player and he will be joining their squad as a forward.
Special Condition in the Contract
Although Real Sociedad is getting a high fee out of the deal the team will be given a huge blow as they will be losing their key player.
In order to soften the situation for Real Sociedad, Newcastle has agreed to add a particular condition to the contract.
The club has added a clause where Real Sociedad will be receiving 10% of Isak’s overall transfer fee as the player moves out of Newcastle.
If all goes well, Isak will be joining Newcastle as soon as he is added to the squad.
